Viktor Palokaj

Mirepo edhe pse ai eshte afirmuar vone duhet te cekim qe Viktori ka filluar te mirret me rep qe ne moshe shume te hershme. Me 1992 Unikkatili inqizoi kenget e tij te para “Demokraci” dhe “Ta zdhukim Policin” dhe me 1993 ai inqizoi kengen e pare profesionale me titull "Zingjiret qe s’kputen”. Pas disa vitesh,saktesisht me 1995 Viktori perjetoi nje tragjedi,shoku I tij I ngushte Dren Thaqi u godit nga treni dhe vdiq,per kete ndodhi ai shkroi dhe inqizoi kengen “Shpirti N’Paqe” si kujtim per Drenin. Ne kohen kur per nje fjale kunderSerbise paguaje shtrenjte Unikkatili shkroi kenge net e cilat permendeshin emra te policve serb si ajo “Vdekje Serbis” e megjithate Radio Selavia ne Pristhtin frikoheshin t’I emetonin keshtu qe nga te gjitha kenget e Unikkatilit aso kohe u emitua vetem “shpirti n’paqe”. Muzika qe bente Unikkatili ishte Hip-Hop eksplicit, net e cilin pa frike paraqiste realitetin ashtu si ishte dhe keto ishin arsyet kyqe te mos afirmimit te tij ne ate kohe. Ndonese do mund te zgjedhte rrugen e lehte deri te fama duke mos perdorur shprehje eksplicite ose fjale kunder pushtetit te asaj kohe sic kishin bere shumica apo te gjith reperet tjere te asaj kohe,ai nuk nderroi stilin e tij dhe mbeti reper eksplicit dhe real,por I panjohur. Me 1996 Unikkatili u fut ne perleshje me nje familje shqiptare dhe hyri ne gjak me ta. Kjo ishte arsyeja pse familja e tij vendosi te shperngulet per ne SHBA. Ata u vendosen ne Bronx(New York), vend ky mjaft I banuar nga komuniteti shqiptar. Me 1998 Unikkatili e ben nje kenge me disa anetare te ABI,te cilen e titulluan “ Albanian Rule” dhe ishte me shum freestyle dhe shaka.Ne pot e njejtin vit Unikkatili punon kengen “if i die u die” kenge kjo e cila nga shum shqiptare shihet si kenga me e mire rep e stilit western. Viktori kur arriti ne USA menjehere e formoi klanin TBA (The Bloody Alboz) ne te cilin nje pjese e anetareve mirren me muzik rep,nder ta me te njohurit jane: Z.E.F , Miloti, Ye-Toni, Polo, Zeni, Presioni(I cili kendon vetem shqip), Fame, Special-K, Tee, N.A.G, B-52, TORNADOS etj. Unikkatili ka edhe studion e tij te inqizimeve te emeruar “CONQUEROR RECORDS” net e cilen punon te gjitha kenget e tij dhe aty ka punuar albumin e tij te titulluar “KANUNI I KATILIT”.

Viktori mbaroi shkollen fillore në Prishtinë, e vazhdoj tani me Gjimnazin. Ai ishte një nxenës i shkëlqyeshem dhe i diciplinuar, por tani ai u bë nje djal i veshtirë dhe e humbi diciplinen. Ai u largua tre herë nga Gjimnazi i Prishtinës "Sami Frashëri", akoma nuk e ndryshoj ai sjelljen e tij, zemrën e tij ia mori Rruga dhe Hip-Hopi(Gangsta Life).

Në mes të vitit 1997 Viktori dhe familja e ti emigroi në SHBA në pjesën Bronx (shqiptimi:Bronks) të qytetit New York(shqiptimi:Nju Jork). Atje ai vazhdoi ëndrrën e tij per një kohë të gjatë.

Viktor Palokaj komponoj dhe shkruajti Tekstë dhe Këngë të tij në moshen 12 vjeqarë. Kënga e par e tij professionale mori emrin "Zinxhirët që s´kputen". Disa vitë më vonë aj inxhizoj këngën "Shpirtin n´Paqë" për shokin e tij të vdekur Dren Thaqi. Tani aj për pak kohë u ndal me muzikë sepse askush nuk i ndihmoj. Kur filloj të vashdoj me muzikë aj inxhizoj këngen "If I Die U Die" në gjuhën anglezë. Kjo Këngë u prit me shum gezimë nga populli amerikan. Suksesi i ti e motivoj të organizoj grupin TBA (The Bloody Alboz) përkthyer në gjuhën shqipë: "Shqipet E Përgjakshme".

Albumi i kaluar i perbashket me grupin The Bloody Alboz (TBA) i titulluar "Armiqt Suprem" eshte shitur me 8000 kopje mbrenda 3 ditesh.love unikkatil Ky Album e thyen recordin ne shitje, shkruan gazeta e Kosovës "Lajm". Asnjë album tjeter i ndonje Rep - Këngtari a grupi nuk është shitur me kaq kopje, brenda nje kohe kaq të shkurtër.

Unikkatil (birth name Viktor Palokaj, also known as Rebel a.k.a. Unikkatil) is a successful rapper and producer from Kosovo, who is generally viewed and as the ‘King’ (also self proclaimed) of the Albanian hip-hop scene. He has been one of the prolific pioneers of Shqip Rap (Albanian Rap) since 1994. Unikkatil has continued producing successful tunes while living in the Bronx, New York and in Kosovo. Unikkatil raps in Albanian and English though his main focus is in the Albanian language. In the late 90s/early 21st century Shqip Rap was mostly commercial based until Unikkatil brought something fresh to the game, gangster rap. Gangster rap did exist in one form or another in Albanian rap however it was never popularized and never really grabbed the attention of a greater audience. The skillful delivery, witty metaphorical rhymes of Unikkatil changed the game and many rap artists have taken his direction, leaving the commercial party scene with soft, simple rhythmitic and to the point hip-hop behind. Although Viktor has gained fame recently he has been around for quite a long time. He actually started recording songs such as “Demokraci” (Democracy) and “Ta Zhdukim Policinë” (Let’s Vanish The Police) way back in 1992. At the age of only 12 he recorded his first professional song entitled “Zinxhirët Qe S’kputen” (Chains That Don’t Break) . Viktor moved to the USA in 1996 because of trouble back home in Kosovo. There, in the heavily Albanian populated Bronx, he got along with many of other Kosovars and Albanians and started producing music. In 1998 he, along with fellow Albanians, created a joking-around freestyle and in the same year he created a song called “If I Die U Die” which is considered by many as the best ‘American-style’ rap song ever made by an Albanian.[table border="1"]
